You will learn how to select and apply specialized quilting fills and edit block shapes directly in the software to match your unique piecing. For this session, our practice projects showcase the 54-40 or Flight and Churn Dash 12” blocks. Expand your skills and turn standard blocks into custom quilted masterpieces!

Pre-Class Preparation & Homework
Pre-make your two placemats prior to class using 12” quilt blocks (54-40 or Fight and Churn Dash). Add a 1” finished border around each block and a 6” finished strip on one side to reach a finished placemat size of 14” x 20”.

Layer each placemat into a quilt sandwich with batting and backing measuring 20” x 24”.
