Dime My Quilting Studio Pro – Artwork Tools & Freehand Drawing

Unleash your inner digitizer in Lesson Three of our DIME My Quilting Studio Pro series! This class covers the advanced creative features of the software: working with the Artwork Tool and using Freehand Draw to sketch custom motifs from scratch. We will apply these custom elements to classic Log Cabin and Louisiana block placemats. By the end of this session, you'll know how to transform your own line art into stitch-ready quilting designs.
Pre-Class Preparation & Homewor

Pre-make your two placemats prior to class using 12” quilt blocks (Log Cabin and Louisiana). Add a 1” finished border around each block and a 6” finished strip on one side to reach a finished placemat size of 14” x 20”.

Layer each placemat into a quilt sandwich with batting and backing measuring 20” x 24”.
